During Our Stay
Address: Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni, Via Roma, 1, 22021 Bellagio CO, Italy (Google Maps direction here)
After a couple of hours of travelling from Lake Garda to Como and then to Bellagio. We arrived at the luxury hotel of Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni. The scenic landscape of Bellagio surely captured our hearts. The beautiful snow-capped mountains, the serene lake, the sophisticated Italian villas that were nestled at the foot of the mountains and the refreshing crisp breeze made us feel we were in nirvana.
We were warmly welcomed by the concierge and ushered us to the reception for check-in. They took care of our luggage and took to our room. The check-in process was quick and brief and we were accompanied to our room.
We stayed in a Deluxe room with the Lake Como view. The grandeur of the hotel is obvious on the intricately decorated red carpet laying upon the marble staircase that leads us to the receiving area and onto our deluxe room. The Deluxe room that we had was linked to another room and can be used in a family room.
The room was filled with classic wooden furniture, Murano chandelier and patterned design carpet and wallpapers. The bed, linens and pillows were so comfortable. Smoking inside the room is permitted. I was surprised when the reception told me that smoking was allowed as it’s considered to be your private abode, therefore, the public laws of non-smoking is not applicable.
The spacious bathroom was complete with bathrobes and slippers. The luxury toiletries from La Bottega were provided as well.
The view of the Lake Como was so beautiful with the snow-capped mountains in the backdrop. You can also see from our room’s window, the stunning villa and filming location of the Star Wars (Planet Naboo) & James Bond (Casino Royale) Hollywood movies.
